This new state-of-the-art recreational facility features a tournament gym in the center that includes two high school basketball courts,
four youth basketball courts, and four volleyball courts, all with sprung athletic wood floors. A net surrounds the courts to separate
it from the walk/run track. Within the courts are four, quadrant nets to section off courts to allow for simultaneous play and when the nets are down, space can be rented out for community events. The design also includes wet
and dry changing rooms, lockers, and a
child watch space. A staff request for ample storage to allow for program flexibility was met.
An all-inclusive, ADA-compliant playground and splash pad is located at the front of the building. The playground is designed on a one
-level surface allowing a wheelchair to easily navigate.
