The new downtown lakeside area in Columbia, Maryland is currently in the redevelopment stages. This project is one of many that repurposes existing buildings into new uses. This new mindbody center will provide health and wellness services of all types. The Spa/CAM (complimentary and alternative medicine) areas will offer relaxing spa treatments as well as medical wellness services. The mind-body center partnered with the Spa/CAM center for ease of operations. This facility will have group exercise studios, locker rooms, pool and exercise therapy centers, as well as a wet wellness component with a hot tub, salt therapy room, Turkish Bath (steam room), tropical shower, and cold plunge.
